Elizabeth ‘Summer’ Milliken Thompson
(DPT)
Summer was born and raised in Ferriday, LA. She is a graduate of Huntington High School and completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. She went on to obtain her doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama-Birmingham.
Upon the completion of her doctorate, Summer worked at Miss-Lou Physical Therapy and worked intermittently as a travel therapist. Eventually, she let go of travel therapy to join her father, Tom Milliken II, at Miss-Lou Physical Therapy full-time.
Summer currently sees patients in the Natchez clinic but has worked in all three locations. Summer is constantly learning and teaching physical therapy courses across the United States as an assistant instructor with the Institute of Clinical Excellence.
Summer is married to Drew Thompson, who is also an office manager with the company, and is a mother of two boys. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, reading, singing, and playing sports with her family.
